Modeled after popular Couch-to-5k plans, MPower's training program is designed for all levels of runners. We concentrate on proper form and pacing while we build endurance through a combination of running drills, games, and core strength exercises. Our program culminates with the optional running of the Celebrate! West Hartford 5K on June 7, 2026.Youth will train for the 5k road race over the course of 7-weeks. This is a non-competitive program with emphasis placed on each runner striving for their personal best and encouraging others to do the same. The program is specifically designed to allow both experienced runners and novices to experience success.Important Note: The race registration fee is not included in the program fee.What Kids Need to Bring:  Water Running Shoes / Sneakers

Instructor: Paul Ratcliffe NCAA Div 1 Player and Team Captain, Certified USPTA Pro 20 yrs, Big Sky Tennis Pro Staff 4:30 pm Youth 6-10 beginners5:30 pm Youth 7-12 adv beginners - intermediate 6:30 pm 13 + / Adult beginners - intermediate 4:30 pm: Youth Beginners:  6 - 10 Years No Tennis experience.  Students will learn the basics of tennis, scoring and beginning match play.5:30 pm: Youth Advanced Beginners-Intermediate:  7 - 12 Years Classes will cover more advanced strokes and match play for students with some experience.6:30 pm: Ages 13+ / Adult Beginners-Intermediate:  For those new to the game.  Classes will cover the basics of tennis as well as strokes, rules and scoring, or for players with recent experience.  Basic and advanced drills and doubles play will be covered.** Instructor Ratcliffe may adjust classes depending upon number of participants, and class make-up.  He will speak with parents and guardians as needed.In the event of a cancellation due to rain/weather, a make-up class will be offered.

Burlington Parks and Recreation offers group lessons year-round, under the direction of Pete Stankevich, PGA Golf Professional and Men's and Women's Golf Coach at the University of Hartford.   All classes will be at Chris Cote's Top Tracer Range in Southington.  The state-of-the-art facility is covered and heated so golf can be practiced in all types of weather. Adult Novice, Women Only, and Junior Clinics start at the beginning of each month and meet on the same day and at the same time for each of the 4-one hour sessions. Classes include fundamentals of the set-up, fundamentals of the golf swing, how to play with irons and woods, pitching, sand bunker play, chipping, putting, rules and etiquette, and much more.   Students can bring their own clubs or we will provide clubs for them to use during classes.Juniors  We offer Junior Group Lessons that consist of 4 one hour sessions covering a wide variety of topics. They are designed for the junior golfer (ages 7-14) who has never played before, as well as the more experienced player who wants to learn more about the game and improve their score.  Students may bring their own clubs or we will provide them for you.

Burlington Parks and Recreation offers group lessons year-round, under the direction of Pete Stankevich, PGA Golf Professional and Men's and Women's Golf Coach at the University of Hartford.   All classes will be at Chris Cote's Top Tracer Range in Southington.  The state-of-the-art facility is covered and heated so golf can be practiced in all types of weather. Adult Novice, Women Only, and Junior Clinics start at the beginning of each month and meet on the same day and at the same time for each of the 4-one hour sessions. Classes include fundamentals of the set-up, fundamentals of the golf swing, how to play with irons and woods, pitching, sand bunker play, chipping, putting, rules and etiquette, and much more.   Students can bring their own clubs or we will provide clubs for them to use during classes.Juniors  We offer Junior Group Lessons that consist of 4 one hour sessions covering a wide variety of topics. They are designed for the junior golfer (ages 7-14) who has never played before, as well as the more experienced player who wants to learn more about the game and improve their score.  Students may bring their own clubs or we will provide them for you.

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM    Women Only Golf Lessons - Women's Golf Lessons- June
Burlington Parks and Recreation offers group lessons year-round, under the direction of Pete Stankevich, PGA Golf Professional and Men's and Women's Golf Coach at the University of Hartford.   All classes will be at Chris Cote's Top Tracer Range in Southington.  The state-of-the-art facility is covered and heated so golf can be practiced in all types of weather. Adult Novice, Women Only, and Junior Clinics start at the beginning of each month and meet on the same day and at the same time for each of the 4-one hour sessions. Classes include fundamentals of the set-up, fundamentals of the golf swing, how to play with irons and woods, pitching, sand bunker play, chipping, putting, rules and etiquette, and much more.   Students can bring their own clubs or we will provide clubs for them to use during classes. Women Only  We offer Women Only classes that are designed for the beginner golfer who is interested in learning the game, as well as the more experienced golfer who is looking to take their game to the next level. Classes consist of 4 one-hour sessions on weekday evenings that cover a wide variety of topics. Students may bring their own clubs or we will provide them for you.  High school students ages 15 and up can sign up as well.

The Next Generation of Dance Instructor: Miss JennaThis dance and gymnastics program is designed for all skill levels. Dance is such a fun environment to be in. It's a place to be you, be silly, meet new friends and have fun!!. Students will be learning a variety of dance routines during Hip Hop and will be learning lots of awesome and fun gymnastics skills during gymnastics.  - Students should wear dance/gymnastic attire, bare feet & a ponytail - Both age groups' classes are gymnastics and hip-hop only. - Students need to have their hair pulled back and out of their face. - Please bring a water bottle and use the restroom prior to the start of class. - Parents/guardians will have to wait in the hallway while class is in session-Parents if your child won't be in class, please let Miss Jenna know VIA text-Parents, Miss Jenna has other classes she needs to get to after your child's class, so please be on time for pick up. A great way for adults to stay active, meet new friends, and play soccer!The purpose of the Adult Soccer Program is not only to promote and encourage adult participation in a sport, but also to provide a means of social fellowship in a recreational setting.  To achieve these goals, the following guidelines are important to everyone.  Soccer shoes and shin guards are a must! NO SHIN GUARDS – No Soccer! Good Sportsmanship is paramount in this program No profane language Teams will be allowed to begin a game with fewer than eleven players if necessary, but must have a minimum of seven All players must play a minimum of fifteen minutes during each game they attend The duration of the game shall be two equal periods of 45 minutes, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon The games will be played in accordance with current FIFA Rules of Play No slide tackles allowed Only those persons who are registered may participate
