Ski and Snowboard Club 2027!!!
WHO: Burlington students in grades 5 – 12 (Harwinton Residents must register in Harwinton)
WHAT: Skiing and snowboarding at discounted rates!
- Lift passes, group lessons, and rental equipment are available.
- Lesson package includes 5 weekly one hour group lessons for any level skier or snowboarder
- New skiers and boarders are required to take lessons.
- Students not taking lessons must possess a solid knowledge of the sport
- Helmets are strongly recommended for ALL group participants.
- This program does require your child to be independent and responsible. While there are chaperones both skiing on the mountain and at the lodge, students will at times be unchaperoned while skiing/snowboarding. Your child will need to be able to listen and follow rules, otherwise it will become a safety issue. Please reinforce the use of the buddy system with your children; we will strongly encourage the use of the buddy system too.
WHEN: Thursdays, January 7, 14, 21, 28, February 4
TIME: 4-8 pm (Lessons: 5-6 pm)
Make-up dates will be added for cancellations
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Program notifications/cancellations will be communicated through E-MAIL and Text Notification
- Due to a statewide shortage of bus drivers, we are unable to provide transportation for this program
- Parents will be responsible to transport students to and from Ski Sundown
CHAPERONES: Chaperones needed! Chaperones ski or snowboard for free during program, Chaperones are needed for inside the lodge as well. All chaperones are required to register. This program cannot run without chaperones.

2) After you register through our site, we will email you a link and discount code to online register through Ski Sundown. (If you are a season pass holder you do not need to register through Ski Sundown)
The following cost of program is paid directly to Ski Sundown:
1) Lifts Only: $240
2 and 3) Lifts and Ski/Snowboard Lessons: $380
4 and 5) Lifts and Ski/Snowboard Rentals: $391
6 and 7) Lifts, Ski/Snowboard Rentals, and Lifts: $531
8) Season Pass Holder Lessons: $225
You must complete registration on both sites to be fully registered for the program.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday, NOVEMBER 6, 2026. Late fee of $25 must be paid if received after 11/6/26
SKI SKILL LEVELS
- First time on skis – new to the sport
- Novice – Riding chair lift and skiing independently, making wedge turns on beginner terrain. Ready to discover linking turns, changing the size, shape, and rhythm of turns, pole use, skating, and intro to parallel turns.
- Intermediate – Skiing in a small wedge or beginning parallel turns on intermediate terrain. Ready to build more confidence by skiing more turn shapes and sizes on more challenging terrain and in different conditions
- Advanced – Making consistent parallel turns on advanced terrain and ready to explore all the mountain has to offer by learning the skills and tactics that it takes to ski steeper terrain, moguls, and variable snow conditions.
SNOWBOARD SKILL LEVELS
- First time on snowboard – new to the sport
- Novice – Riding chairlift & snowboarding independently, controlling direction & speed on beginner terrain, ready to discover speed control through heel and toe edge movements, and intro to linking turns.
- Intermediate – Exploring intermediate terrain using linked turns to control direction. Ready to learn speed control through turn shape & intro to carving and ground tricks.
- Advanced – Making carved turns on advanced terrain. Ready for advanced carving skills, switch riding, moguls and intro to aerials
Helmets are strongly recommended for ALL group participants

Go to the Ski Swap sponsored by Ski Sundown Ski Patrol on Friday 11/6 4-9 pm, Saturday 11/7 10am-8pm and Sunday 11/8 10am-2pm.
Ski Sundown Refund Procedure
If requested by November 30th, a full refund will be given.
If requested between December 1st-January 4th, a refund with a $25 fee, will be processed.
No refunds after January 4th, except Medical reasons
Ski Sundown Registration
- To finalize your registration for the Ski & Snowboard program, you will receive and email including a direct link and code specific to Burlington Ski Club. You must register through Ski Sundown as well by 11/6/26.
