NEW**   Limitation on Weeks:  While we love that you all love our camp; we want everyone to have a chance to enjoy it.  This year, during the first week of registration (April 1-7) there will be a limit of 5 weeks out of the available 8 that a child can be registered for.  On April 8, we will remove that limitation.

What to do between now and registration opening:
    • Make sure every child in your family is listed on your account
Our camp goes based upon grade, not on age.  If the grade is listed incorrectly or not listed, you will not be able to register.
    • Make sure each child’s grade is listed as the grade they are CURRENTLY in. Our system rolls up the grades automatically for programs starting May 1st
      • For example, if your child is currently in Grade 1, you’ll be registering for Camp Adventure (Entering Grades 2 and 3) Since the activity start date is after May 1, our system will allow you to register into Camp Adventure (grades 2 and 3)
      • Example 2: Your child is currently in Kindergarten.  On your account your child’s grade is listed as Grade 1.  The system will NOT allow you to register for Camp Discovery (Grades entering K-1)
    • If your child is entering Kindergarten in the fall, their grade should be listed as Pre-K (PK).  If it doesn’t have a grade listed, you will not be allowed to register.
    • Do not plan to register your child for the wrong grade camp. It does not save a spot for your child and the refund cost will be applied.
    • You cannot change the grade yourself, we have to do that for you.  You can email twomey.t@burlingtonct.us  to change the grade listed.  (I will be checking over the weekend to update grades)

    UPDATED REFUND POLICY:
We have noticed a trend of booking for multiple weeks and then asking for refunds multiple times throughout the summer.  This causes last-minute issues for families on waiting lists and also extra work on our staff.  Therefore, the Parks and Recreation Commission has created a new refund policy.  There will be a $25 refund fee for each week for each child being refunded.

Please reply to this email or give us a call 860-673-6789 ext 7 with any questions.

    We’re excited for Summer 2024!
