Modeled after popular Couch-to-5k plans, MPower's training program is designed for all levels of runners. We concentrate on proper form and pacing while we build endurance through a combination of running drills, games, and core strength exercises. Our program culminates with the optional running of the Celebrate! West Hartford 5k on June 8th. Youth will train for the 5k road race over the course of 7-weeks. This is a non-competitive program with emphasis placed on each runner striving for their personal best and encouraging others to do the same. The program is specifically designed to allow both experienced experienced runners and novices to experience success.Important Note: The race registration fee is not included in the program fee.What Kids Need to Bring:  Water Running Shoes / Sneakers
